The le bistro opens at 7.00 a.m. We serve breakfast on the terrace including Café do Fogo, fresh cheese, a variety of egg dishes, goyabajam and papaya or banana. On request we arrange a picnic for your excursion.

After a break we open again at 5.00 p.m. We offer various dishes for dinner. As we place high value on buying fresh ingredients, the selection of the dishes depends on the current offers at the fish and vegetable market. With dinner we recommend the local wine from the Cha das Caldeiras.

During the evening there is a lot of talking among my guests about their experiences and plans for the next days. For me it’s a pleasure to give them tips and information.

The Casa Renate is located next to the Catholic church. It is a renovated historic sobrado with a wonderful view over the atlantic towards the island of Brava. Here I rent out 4 guestrooms each of them with a bathroom and shower. For reservations please contact:
