Casa Renate

The “Casa Renate” is a pension in Sao Filipe, capital of the capeverdian island of Fogo. It is situated in the historic center  of the town, 40 meters above the atlantic.

This building is a mansion house of the former Portuguese colonial dominion, a  so called sobrado. Some years ago, it was renovated due to the european standard.

There are the apartment no. 1 and the room no. 2 on the upper floor, where a terrace offers a marvellous view over the atlantic and towards the island of Brava.

On the lower floor you will find the apartments no. 3 and no. 4  and housekeeping-rooms with a fridge, well filled with refreshment-drinks, wine and beer.

The roofed terrace and the calm patio invite for a rest, reading and playing.

Our service includes the daily cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms, changing of the towels as well as the free transfer from and to the airport.
