TACV is the name of the Capeverdean airline. It offers international flights as well as domestic flights between the islands of Cabo Verde. If you are comparing prices be aware that the TACV has a discount system for the domestic flights called airpass, but only for those passengers who are also using the international flights by TACV.

Direct flights from Sal to Fogo are rare. Normally you have an overnight stay in the capital Praia on the island of Santiago. A visit to the near-by village Cidade Velha or a stroll in the lanes of the market Sucupira could be interesting destinations.

To enter Cabo Verde, you need a passport valid for at least 6 month and a visa. To get the visa, you have to contact the capeverdean embassy or your tour operator. For 3 weeks you will get the visa at the entry. It´s simple and cheaper.
